Wholemeal Ancient Grain contains all the healthy ingredients present in our standard Ancient Grain but is made with wholemeal spelt and wholemeal Khorasan flour.

Nutritionists are strongly recommending that we look for low GI foods in our diet, that is, foods that slowly release glucose into your blood stream keeping your energy levels balanced, meaning you will feel fuller for longer between meals.

If you look at what characterises a low GI food, it is a food that is less processed, contains wholemeal or wholegrains has lots of seeds uses stoneground flour and is made with sourdough.
